BuyHatke — the one that actually covers your platforms

BuyHatke is the one built for exactly this site’s scope: it tracks Flipkart, Amazon, Myntra, and Ajio, not just Amazon. It’s a browser extension and app, Indian-made, and shows a price history graph (roughly the last three months), price-drop alerts, and a coupon finder layered on top — so you’re not just checking history, you’re also catching applicable coupons on the same screen.

Three months of history is enough to catch the most common trick — an MRP inflated right before a “sale” — but not enough to see a product’s full pricing pattern across festive sales a year apart. For that, you want Keepa.

One caveat worth knowing: BuyHatke’s graph doesn’t always catch a price change the same day it happens — a few people have reported a real drop showing up a day or so late on the chart. Not a dealbreaker, but if a listing’s current price looks off from what the graph shows, give it a day before assuming the tool is wrong.

PriceHistory.app — another all-platform option, plus its own Telegram bot

PriceHistory.app covers the same four platforms as BuyHatke (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio) and then some — TataCLiQ, Bigbasket, Jiomart, and Croma too. It’s available as a browser extension, an app, and — genuinely useful if you’d rather not check manually — its own Telegram bot that pings you directly when a tracked product’s price drops, separate from whatever deals channel you’re already following.

Between this and BuyHatke, there’s no clear “better” one — they cover the same ground, and which interface you prefer is mostly personal taste. Worth trying both on a product you’re actually watching and seeing which one’s chart and alerts you trust more.

Keepa — deeper history, Amazon only

Keepa has tracked Amazon India since 2011, which means it can show you a product’s actual price movement across multiple festive-sale cycles, not just the last few months. That depth is the real advantage over BuyHatke — you can see whether a “biggest discount ever” claim is actually true against years of data, not just recent weeks. The trade-off is scope: Keepa is Amazon-only, so it’s no help at all for a Flipkart, Myntra, or Ajio listing.

Keepa is available as a browser extension (it overlays the price chart directly on the Amazon product page, which is the easiest way to use it) and as a standalone site/app if you want to check a listing without opening it first.

Which one should you actually use?

Realistically, a combination — they’re not really competing with each other once you factor in what each one covers:

• Shopping on Flipkart, Myntra, or Ajio — BuyHatke or PriceHistory.app, your call which interface you prefer; Keepa and CamelCamelCamel don’t track those platforms at all.
• Shopping on Amazon and want to double-check a big, “biggest sale ever”-type claim — Keepa’s longer history is more convincing evidence than either all-platform tool’s shorter window.
• Shopping on Amazon for something ordinary — any of the three works; BuyHatke’s coupon finder or PriceHistory.app’s Telegram alerts are nice bonuses depending on which you’d actually use.

Neither replaces the rest of the checks on my deal-verification checklist — a clean price history doesn’t tell you whether the seller is legitimate or whether a coupon’s still active, just whether the discount itself is real.
